calculate the true cost of culture issues
Does your leadership team understand the full financial picture of culture?
Most executives and people leaders know culture matters—but few have the data to prove it when it’s time to fight for resources.
That’s why we developed a proprietary calculator so you can calculate your company’s TRUE culture costs including:
ETC = Employee Turnover Costs
LP = Lost Productivity
CSRI = Customer Satisfaction & Retention Impact
IL = Innovation Loss
LCC = Legal & Compliance Costs
WCC = Workplace Conflict Costs
SRAC = Stress-Related Absenteeism Costs
And get this — the majority of these figures are direct profit meaning it’s business you already won, people you already hired and money already spent.
If you’re struggling to get the support or budget your culture initiatives deserve, chances are your current business case isn’t telling the full story.
Fill in as many details as you can. Don’t worry, we have put in conservative numbers from industry statistics as a default for numbers you don’t have.
Once you have calculated all these numbers, the picture becomes clear: culture isn’t a nice-to-have; it’s a business imperative.

The EQ at Work program that Gretchen rolled out with my team at AIKON while I was CEO was surprisingly impactful. Startup life is stressful and as a fully remote team, I was eager to provide the training, tools and support to help our team improve our company culture, accountability and interpersonal relationships. The people who attended most seemed to get the most out of it and as a regular attendee personally, I found myself having improved conversations with my team using the tools taught in the program.
Over time, the program received a lot of positive anecdotal feedback and our team dynamics continued to improve as the program went on. I found the ninety-minute, once a month format to be easy to carve time for and always enjoyed the time with my team. After five months, Gretchen surveyed participants and the feedback was even better than I expected with more than 85% saying it positively impacted their life and was valuable to our company culture.
The program is professionally run and I would recommend it for any team that prioritizes transparency and a healthy company culture.
Marc Blinder, CEO, AIKON

We consider them not only colleagues but a part of our organization’s family. We look forward to building our working and personal relationships for years to come.”
